Can Flux V import and existing website to work on?
I have been using Adobe Contribute for 10 years to update/modify my business website. However, after installing Yosemite Contribute would "unexpectedly quit" upon trying to connect. I spoke with someone at Adobe who informed me that Contribute is NOT compatible with Yosemite. My question is, I already have a website. Can I import my existing website into Flux V to update?
I have an iMac 27 inch 3.4GHz (2011) using OS 10.10.1

Yes, absolutely, Flux can edit pretty much any HTML/CSS website.
You can edit it directly on FTP/SFTP, check out page 93 of the manual for
this.
Or, you can download the site to a local disk, and simply drag the website
folder to the Flux icon,
Hope this helps.
Best,
Moray

I downloaded the trial to check it out. However it doesn’t appear that I can access my existing website from the trial version. Is that correct, or am I doing something wrong?

The trial version has no restrictions other than the 30 days, so I'm sure
we can sort this out.
Are you trying to access your sites via FTP, or locally from your hard disk?

Moray

VIA FTP.
I have a website on the web. From the manual (on page 93) it says I need to go to Preferences, Bookmarks, and then provide the name, host, user, password, etc. in order to access the site and make changes. However when I go to Bookmarks the entry areas are all gray. I can’t add any information.

Hi, first add a bookmark by pressing the '+' button at the bottom left of
the window.
I'll make a note to make the manual clearer.
Best,
